My country Nepal

  Introduction   

 

       Nepal is a landlocked country surrounded by China and India from the North and east, west, and south. In the context of geography, Nepal can be further divided into three regions and they are listed below:




1)Himalayan Region


         Himalayan region lies in the northest part of Nepal. It is also one of the coldest regions. The lifestyle of people of this region is a bit harder. Buddhism is a major religion, and the people living in this are Tamang, Bhote, etc. We are going to discuss some significant facts about this region

Climate

        The climate of this region is so cold. People of this region have to wear warm clothes. Due to cold
climate, we can find snow there all the time. There are 8 highest mountains having heights of more than 8000m in the world.


Income

        Due to the presence of hard rocks in the land, the soil is not suitable for agriculture. Almost, all people depend on animal husbandry and tourism. If the government gives proper attention to tourism of this region, we can earn a lot of foreign currency to build up the status of this region.


2) Hilly region

                    The Hilly region lies between the mountain and Terai region of Nepal. It covers the largest land in Nepal. The people living in this region are Chhetri, Magar, Newar,bhahun, and so on. we are discussing some facts about this region.

 climate

  The climate of this region is moderate. This region has many hills which attract people toward it. Due to the moderate climate, this region has deciduous forest.

income

 This region is better in agriculture. however, people of this region are involved in tourism, animal husbandry, industry, and so on.
